Information:
An interesting variation of the US release of Ecco for the Sega CD. The disc specifically has printed on it that it's a Not For Resale copy as this was given away as a pack-in title for the Sega CDX in 1994. Reports on if this came out in any earlier bundles are difficult to confirm and correlate, but the CDX for sure had this as an optional pack in alongside Sonic CD and the Sega Arcade Classics Collection, all with jewel-case sized manuals compared to the larger US Sega CD manuals.
The game itself is the same full retail package on disc, just with a cardboard slip for a box, but is a unique addition to the collection.
